Aziza-Abdullah Nicole, an artist weaving dreams into the vibrant tapestry of Brooklyn, hails from P.G. County, Maryland, known as the DMV. A master of CAD and gem identification, her skills were meticulously honed at the esteemed Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where she earned her Graduate Gemologist credentials in 2022 and explored the intricate world of Jewelry Design & Technology in 2023. Under the nurturing guidance of Carol Glenman at Liloveve Jewelry Studios, Aziza embraced the ancient arts of lost wax and metal smithing. She idolizes her mother’s exquisite jewelry collection and 70’s style of free-flowing garments, drawing inspiration from the handcrafted pieces that reflect her mother’s wisdom. This is beautifully complemented by her father’s refined taste and the edgy attitude of his hippy style, creating a rich tapestry of influences that shape her artistry. Each creation unfolds like a chapter in her life, transcending the conventional notion of a collection. Her work flows with fluidity, free from the confines of gender, celebrating art as a narrative.
